It’s Time to Freaking Celebrate!!!
Over ten years ago as I gained a foothold into this industry once again, I started what was then called “The Biggest Winner.” It was a wellness program that included all the nuts and bolts but was geared toward large groups of people with a competitive edge to it. It was a weight loss competition with a hidden agenda strengthening knees, backs, and shoulders. The most important aspect was to rebuild the confidence levels of a team of people that had been beaten down. The results were phenomenal and what was supposed to be a 12-week program turned into a 2.5-year program. I left my prior organization and started eVOLV and this program turned into Rise of the Phoenix and it eVOLVed!
Today we are running it for the eighth year and each time we come to the final week I get super emotional. The changes that these individuals go through are awesome. Yes, there is weight loss. Yes, there is muscle build. Yes, there are abs again. Most importantly though – the inner light of these individuals has once again become a fire so bright that I don’t recognize them in their before pictures.
I use the Phoenix as our logo for a particular reason. Each of these participants started from the ashes. Now each person has a new set of wings that are stunningly beautiful and unique to them. They have found themselves again!
It is time to celebrate each of their successes and to celebrate their journey. I commend and applaud those that have stuck to the program! I am humbled by your trust in eVOLV and for allowing us to be your coaches. When you get on stage – be proud of who you have become and from where you have come. This path is not easy, and it is scary as hell to do what you are doing. You have done it and now it is time to CELEBRATE!
Your journey is not over and now you must provide leadership and mentorship for those who come after you. In this you will find a sustainable wellness level for the rest of your life. Just look at me! You do wish to be stunningly beautiful right? LOL!
